Step-by-step set-up
- Clear a space about 1.5 × 1.5 m on a flat floor.
- Connect the poles if they come in sections, and slide them into the sleeves of the cover.
- Join the poles at the top with the stabiliser so they lock together.
- Spread the base evenly until the cover is taut and the tent stands firmly.
- Tie the base straps or ties if included, so the poles don’t slide on smooth floors.
- Add the inside: place the fluffy mat inside, hang the bunting, and wrap the star lights loosely around the poles.
That’s it – usually under 5 minutes.
Tips for a stable teepee
- On hardwood or tile, a rug underneath helps stop the poles slipping.
- Make sure all poles are fully in the stabiliser before kids climb in.
- Don’t hang heavy items from the top.
Packing it away
- Remove the lights, bunting and mat.
- Release the top stabiliser and pull out the poles.
- Fold the cover and roll it up.
- Pack everything into the carry bag.
