Base width: how many kids fit

A square base gives more usable floor space than a narrow rectangle of the same width.
Height: room for a parent
At about 150–160 cm, an adult can sit inside comfortably for reading. Our teepee is 160 cm tall.
Room space needed
Add roughly 15–30 cm around the base so kids can get in and out – about 1.5 × 1.5 m for a 120 cm teepee. Because it narrows towards the top, it fits under sloped ceilings and into corners.
